It's £10 pm min isn't it? It appears to be branch/post; can it be managed on-line?allegro120 said:
I opened this Regular eSaver 30 a few weeks ago for the same purpose, I knew there will be a gap between closing the existing Bonus RS and opening a new one, but then realised that I still have 90 days tracker opened. I've closed this account long time ago, but it is still showing as alive. Probably didn't need to open this ugly ReS30, who knows?ordnancesurvey84 said:
Of note, there's actually no requirement of 12+ months' membership for a Mansfield Bonus Regular Saver. The stipulation is simply to be an existing member (if not local). I opened their uncompetitive Regular eSaver 30 with £10 to become an existing member and then opened the Bonus RS shortly thereafter.
For Mansfield you can grab the Bonus RS if you've been an existing customer for 12+ months.
yes, and yes - can be managed online0 -
Opening and closure is by post or branch only. There's an online portal which allows you to view balances, make payments, transfer etc etc (probably a very familiar portal if you've used Monmouthshire or Ecology before!!).soulsaver said:

Available for opening now.I've noticed a error in the account details:What would the estimated balance be after 12 months based on a £1,000 deposit?I've emailed Furness. If you open the account with maximum opening deposit of £500 and deposit the maximum monthly deposit of £500 on the first day of each month, after 12 months you would have £6173.39
This figure is for illustration purposes and is based on no withdrawals or changes in interest rate within the 12 month period.

I'm having trouble with the Furness application, I started the application on my laptop for the 5.25% then had to switch to my mobile for verification which didn't take long but on the final page it asked me to confirm - that I'm setting up a 4.75% account. Anyone else manage this application successfully yet?0

(Potential online applicant, first-time customer. without photo ID or a smartphone)
Probably a dumb question, but, just to confirm, I take it that Furness BS insist upon photo ID, given the following:
and
Or is this only required, in practice, if they can't verify you with 'digital checks' (as most banks/building societies typically do, IME)?0 -
Re: Furness online
They insist on it if you want to use their online system, even if you don't want to ever use an app or a mobile.
I ended up opening an account in branch instead - I asked why this was the case, the answer I got was "it just is. If you want to access your account online you'll need something with a camera to set it up". And yes, even if you have already provided ID in person.
Though in your case @SJMALBA I'm not sure how you could even open in branch as you'll need physical photo ID for that2
