Is everyone closing their unwanted Coventry Regular Savers tomorrow.
I'm keeping one just so it is easy to open an account with them if they finally get round to launching something decent and to qualify for any potential loyalty product. Won't be much money in it though.
I’m keeping the minimum £1 in the EA account they are going to create to remain a customer.
Mined my money out a couple of days ago to another account elsewhere, but left £1 which will go over with the Sunny Day Saver interest to the maturity EA account.
    Digital Payback

So my Principality RS issue 3 maturity instructions now show online. The RS 4 is an option, which is wasn't on the letter I received. It feels like the jury is out on here whether timing or random chance dictates whether /how to get such a request through successfully when you already have an RS 4
I'm wondering if today as a non working day followed by a busy Monday morning would. be worth a try. Thoughts?
Maybe the letter was posted before the Issue 4 existed
RS4 leaflet is enclosed with the letter. It’s just not an option on the instruction form
it was the same with RS3 - they sent the leaflet for it, but it wasn't an option on the paper maturity form.

I don't have the paper form in front of me atm but I recall there being a  free text box (in Blue?) where you can manually enter the name of another account. Top right rings a bell..

Not the best designed form though and easier to submit instructions online..

Yes, the last form that I received (June 2025) has a green box on the right, with the heading: 'Reinvest some of your savings', which has 2 boxes below to fill in with the 'New Regular Saver Bond Name' and the '...amount you'd like to reinvest'.

As you say, though, easier and quicker to do it online, which is what I've always done (always successful... so far...!?)

I have sent a secure message requesting closure of my Coventry Loyalty (3) and also used the app to request a partial withdrawal from my Sunny Day Saver, as despite the letter showing maturity as today, it seems the account doesn’t actually convert until tomorrow. Instead of putting money aside for September expenses in August I put that into savings, so happy to have the remaining balance earn interest until tomorrow given that it won’t be heading to Regular Savers.

Afterwards, requested a withdrawal from Skipton Member Bonus Saver. Those funds have landed, but still waiting on Coventry. It did say today though, so although not as fast as Skipton, they’re quicker than they used to be.

You can close Coventry accounts in online banking.

I’m aware of that, but thought that requesting a closure of the LS that way would apply the usual process (a penalty) rather than the waiver currently offered.

I don’t want to close the SDS until it is an EA as explained, but will be logging into online banking to do that tomorrow.

    Nationwide
Regular saver matures later this month. 13th payment has been returned. In the past Nationwide has allowed the 13th payment. Is this a change in policy?
