My Progressive BS Online Regular Rainy-Day Saver Account matured today to Online Instant Access Saver Account 2.
Does the BS allow withdrawal on weekends or should I be expecting the credit on Monday?
    Progressive
Just checked my records.  Mine matured on Saturday, closed account on the same day and the money arrived to my bank account on Sunday.

Where are people seeing the online maturity options? . Is it via the drop down next to the account in the list of open accounts after you login, because I don't have an option yet in the drop down. Mine matures 14th.

You'll likely see it tomorrow if it matures on the 14th.
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?

Let's see if the online offering gives me an opton for the RS4. The postal forms didn't.

I updated the Principality maturity option on line and requested the New Iss 4 regular saver.  I got the yellow box showing the Maturity Instructions will be completed on the 13th September.

My wife did the same as me but she got a secure message telling her she cannot have two Issue 4 Regular Savers. I will need to wait and see if mine gets bounced. Fingers crossed.

    Seems all very random.
I haven't received any notification yet of my maturity instruction been rejected
It is random, no clear cause for failures.  I was lucky so far, up to date my maturity options have never failed.  Can't remember how many times I've done it, I think more than 10.  I've been running 4 6mRS simultaneously for quite a while now.  I also have 2 Christmases (the second one was the result of maturity instruction). Yesterday I've instructed my first issue 3 to morph into my second issue 4 - no rejection yet.

It does seem just to be down to luck. I only found out relatively recently that there was even such a possibility but both the maturity instructions I have given have been overridden.

YBS have sent a second email about Savings Week. They'll have some very annoyed customers if they don't come out with anything now 😐

I don't know why they bothered sending out two emails with no useful information in them whatsoever and a link to their current offering of savings accounts (which isn't great right now). All will be forgiven if they actually offer something good in savings week!

    Monmouthshire BS

Both the regular saver issue 8 (6%) and app/branch exclusive regular saver issue 1 (7%) pay interest at the end of the term according to the T&Cs:
    • Interest is calculated daily and paid at the end of the 12 month term.
However I noticed on my online account that the next interest due date for both of these accounts shows as 31/03/2026.

Is this an error on the online system and the payment will be credited at the end of the term as per the t&c?
This will be important for many as it will fall in a different tax year as planned!

Also noticed that there is another more general regular saver terms and conditions where it states:
    • The interest for this account is variable, calculated daily and paid once a year after 31 March.
Which seems to contradict the specific product t&cs. This document also says "Always refer to the specific Product Summary document before the Regular Saver Terms and Conditions" so I assumed the interest payment will be after the 12 month term??

Hoping this is only an error in the online system! Does anyone have past experience with this BS and can confirm what will happen with the interest payment?

I seem to recall this happened with their Coronation RS (launched in 2023) which stated interest would be paid on 31/3/24 in online banking. In my case interest wasn't paid in March and was instead paid when I closed the account in April 2024.

And with one or both of last year's 7/8% offerings. Clarified with them that it was end of term
Sorry do you mean that you've clarified with them on their current RS's offered or last years?  Because if interest is indeed paid 31/03 then I suspect it will have tax implications for many so may have to rethink

Last year's. Apologies for not being clearer
