same here - though I noticed the link that opens the account terms pdf fails (as it did originally when I opened one a couple of days ago - they fixed that link, but not this one)... it just occurred to me that I haven't received anything about this maturity in the post yet - pretty sure last time, I got the letter weeks before the maturity options were available online.surreysaver said:
Maturity instructions submitted. Let's see how many Issue 4s I can accrue!gt94sss2 said:For those who have a Principality Account maturing on the 13/09/25, the maturity options are now showing on their website.
The choices include the new Issue 4 of their 6 month RS.
also, if anyone gets the dreaded secure message, from the unidentified member of staff, rejecting multiple Issue 4 accounts, then you should still be able to call them and do it over the phone without any hassle.0 -
I received a letter from Coventry BS, dated 4th August, that the SDS would be closed on 31st August and the balance transferred to an Easy Access Saver (7) (2.40%) account - from which the balance can be withdrawn at any time.youngretired said:I've got a Coventry Sunny Day Saver maturing on the 6th and a Yorkshire Loyalty Saver maturing on the 10th. I haven't received any instructions or messages about maturity instructions. Has anyone else that have these maturing soon, received anything? My post doesn't seem to be getting delivered again regularly.
I don't have the YBS Loyalty Saver, though their £50 RS matures for me on the 10th - i've heard nothing from them about it yet - email or letter - although the account terms pdf states that it converts to an EA account and they would send full details of this account at least 14 days before maturity.. so I guess something should arrive any day now... possibly similar for the Loyalty Saver too.3 -
I have one where a Welsh BS opens a branch in Chester and offers a 10% RS Branch only account @ £500pm. Why Chester you ask? I have a Senior Citizen Travel Pass that would get me to Chester FOCs71hj said:Anyone else having dreams involving Welsh Building societies...?
Nice day out by train! Come on Yr Wyddgrug Building Society ... you know you want to! Compiler of the RS League Table.
Being nosey... How many Regular Saver accounts do you have? — MoneySavingExpert Forum6 -
I had mine by email earlier this week for a maturity the same day. Nothing indicated about a replacement, just advising to log in and check details were up to date so that funds could be accessed quickly on maturity.janusdesign said:

My Coventry info came by post. No need to submit any maturity instructions - it matures into an easy access account (I don't have the specific information to hand) and presumably you can withdraw from there.youngretired said:I've got a Coventry Sunny Day Saver maturing on the 6th and a Yorkshire Loyalty Saver maturing on the 10th. Edit: mine doesn't mature until the 18th, so I imagine your post is on its way1 -
Is that Coventry or YBS you're referring too? Coventry sent me a whole chunk of information by post, despite all my paperless settings being set to "online". Felt like a big waste of paper.Kim_13 said:

Got my Principality maturity stuff by post as did my wife. Both included literature about RS 4 but that was not included in the tick boxes as an option0

YBS, as the poster had received their Coventry info.clairec666 said:

I also had the Coventry waste of paper and expect more once the SDS matures and the converted account is closed.1 -
I managed to open both Monmouthshire accounts in the app last week and firstly funded RS with £1 and then the exclusive RS with £1000. Assuming everything is ok, I'll then keep funding it at the start of each month.A tip here for the building society accounts, that use other banks to receive payments, is to use a Nationwide current account as this now allows for account 'nicknames' as well as references. My plan this year was to earn 1k to 1.5k in RS interest, but I'm now expecting to breach the Basic Rate threshold so I'm now having to alter strategies while also contemplating making additional pension contributions. Getting the sums wrong would cost £200 + an additional 20% interest. I now see why lower rate ISAs are attractive to a lot of people. With the dropping interest rates, I'm now thinking to fully fund the Exclusive RS and then overpaying the mortgage becomes more attractive.0

it seems that the unidentifiable member of the digital team staff works on a Saturday morning - I received a secure message about 20 minutes after submitting the maturity options via the choices within the maturing product.janusdesign said:

"oh i'm sorry", she says, "you seem to already have an Issue 4 and you can only have one of these accounts"... then she jokes, "how have you managed to get 3 x Issue 3 accounts?" - I explained they were maturity options for previous accounts and she says "i'm surprised we haven't closed them down!"... in the end, I just requested the entire balance to go to the EA account.Hello
Thank you for your secure message.
Regrettably we are unable to complete your maturity instructions as you already hold the 6 Month Regular Saver issue 4.
As stated in the terms and conditions for this account you are only able to hold one account of the same issue. Please confirm how you would like to proceed.
so perhaps there has been some staff training and they, or at least some of them, are now on the ball with regards to this... or i've just been unlucky.
next maturity options for me are in 6 weeks time - perhaps if I get postal maturity details for that account, i'll apply the maturity choice by post - but I don't see online or telephone options as viable now (or at least pot luck as to who you get dealing with it).
