I posted mine on Wed am (in time for uplift later that day at 6pm) but with second class stamp. Nothing showing on the app yet to suggest account open. Looks like I have missed out on August. Oh well, some you win, some you lose
Similar for me. I seem to recollect that when Monmouthshire's Christmas RS was the stand out account a few years ago they were inundated, which led to processing delays, and they treated applications as having been received the day after the date of the signature and/or cheque. Hoping they may do the same again, but que sera, sera.0 -

the balance is still zero, so I guess the cheque won't clear now until next week and assume the opening date will be when its cleared rather than received - if that's the case, it should count as next month's deposit.0 -

Both the regular saver issue 8 (6%) and app/branch exclusive regular saver issue 1 (7%) pay interest at the end of the term according to the T&Cs:- Interest is calculated daily and paid at the end of the 12 month term.
Is this an error on the online system and the payment will be credited at the end of the term as per the t&c?
This will be important for many as it will fall in a different tax year as planned!
Also noticed that there is another more general regular saver terms and conditions where it states:- The interest for this account is variable, calculated daily and paid once a year after 31 March.
Hoping this is only an error in the online system! Does anyone have past experience with this BS and can confirm what will happen with the interest payment?
And with one or both of last year's 7/8% offerings. Clarified with them that it was end of term

MonBS Branch Exclusive
Two application forms + cheques sent by post on Wednesday 1st Class. Both accounts now showing in respective apps, alongside the App Exclusives. Hopefully they'll backdate the deposit so they count as August but either way I'm happy.
Thanks again @Bridlington13 -

The account appeared on their app today at around 11:00 AM with a balance of £0.00. When I checked the app later in the day - around 6:30 PM - the £500.00 is now showing as in with a description "Cheque Receipt". Happy days! Impressed at the speed.Another £500.00 going in on Monday via bank transfer.s71hj said:no it should show "BRANCH EXCLUSIVE SAVER - ISSUE 1".
My wife seems to have had a "Saver plus issue 2" appear but no balance or transactions. Is this what it goes under?
wrt the "Saver plus issue 2" - any chance this is an old account your wife opened years ago ? i've got a "Regular Saver Issue 2" showing in the app (not online) that was an account I opened a couple of years ago, never funded and was told by MBS was closed... if so, just ignore it.0 -

For those who have a Principality Account maturing on the 13/09/25, the maturity options are now showing on their website.
The choices include the new Issue 4 of their 6 month RS.23 -
