If it's any consolation my Coventry Sunny Day Saver matures on 31/8/25 and I got an email this morning to tell me it was reducing on 1/9/25.ChewyyBacca said:
I hold Progressive RS Iss 1, due to mature on 29 Aug 2025Bridlington1 said:Progressive BS Interest Rate Reductions 1/9/25:
Online Regular Rainy Day Saver Issue 1 ~~~Reduction from 6.25% to 6%
Online Regular Rainy Day Saver Issue 2 ~~~Reduction from 4.25% to 4%
Online Regular Rainy Day Saver Issue 3 ~~~ NO CHANGE ~~~ Remains at 5.5%
Today morning I received an email (redundant) about rate reduction effective from 1 Sept 2025.
I've also had emails from others notifying me of interest rate cuts to accounts that I'd already closed in the past.

Maybe the timescale given is a worst case scenario, like FPs usually show up instantly but can take several days.0 -
Does anyone know if the YBS 8% RS allows a 13th payment?0

Only if you haven't paid the maximum of £50 each month you've had itposhrule_uk said:Does anyone know if the YBS 8% RS allows a 13th payment?I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -
From T's&C's
How much can I save? . You can open this account from £1 and save up to £50 each calendar month. This would be a maximum of £600 in one year, before your interest was added.

I have found that YBS regular savers do accept a 13th payment taking you over the maximum balance if you send it externally but not internally and the correct interest is paid on it at the end of the term.poshrule_uk said:Does anyone know if the YBS 8% RS allows a 13th payment?6
