Skipton Home Deposit Saver (Issue 3) at 4.56% is now NLA and has been replaced by Issue 4 at 4.31%. Issue 4's interest rate is too low for the account to be included on the first page of this thread.

Thresholds for accounts to be included on the first page of this thread remain under review and may be altered depending how the savings landscape evolves following the base rate cut yesterday.

Additionally these cuts were a late response to the February cut to the base rate, rather than the May one. For the full list of interest rate cuts announced by Nationwide see:

    Co-op Regular Saver

Does anyone have any experience 'refreshing' this account? How soon can it be closed and a new regular saver opened?

From personal disasterous experienced, I requested closure of my Co-Op RS at the beginning of Decemeber & it took 6 weeks before the Co-op system with great human intervention could finally fully closed it & I could open another. For that reason, I've left well alone on the closure & re-opening front. There's also been issues with the Co-op having cyber attacks, so that may also be something to factor in as safety & security comes first in the banking agenda ;)
