Yes, Principality seem to be quite quick to update. With issue 3, I just went ahead despite the warning that the reference couldn't be found. The money showed in my new account later, as expected.jaypers said:
Perfectly normal. Principality payments usually show after a couple of hours, regardless of day, so if you’re worried do a smaller payment and then top up later as this account allows multiple payments up to the max each month.s71hj said:
Am I correct that it is normal for COP to not recognise account details until the next day?[Deleted User] said:Just regarding Principality, I had the same issue so googled Issue 3 regular saver, took me straight there.

Saffron Small Saver
Mine matured a few days ago into an Instant Access account but I can't find a way to withdraw funds. For all my other Saffron accounts, there is a 'Transfer money' link, but that doesn't exist for this one.
What are my options?0 -
Probably, I didn't fund it for a day or two anyway.s71hj said:

Melton Building Society Adcock Regular Saver
Thought it might be helpful to summarise my opening experience, which has been good.
Posted application form (2nd class post, from Scotland) on Wed 12th, along with cheque (made out in my favour) for £150.
Did not send ID documents (already a member, added a handwritten note at the end of the form saying I was already a savings member and giving existing account number)
Today (Sat 15th March), I checked my online account. The Adcock RS now showing (giving the account number) as opened on 14th March (Friday) with cheque deposit for £150 as opening transaction.
Have been able today to set up monthly standing order to start from 1 April. COP match given.
No correspondence yet, I expect passbook to arrive next week. Expecting cheque to be debited on Monday, so have been able to ensure that current account balance is sufficient.

Do you have a nominated account (NA)? There should be a 'Make Payment' option which you can use to withdraw funds to your NA.granta said:Saffron Small Saver

I recently closed my Small Saver early, and used this option; I then sent a secure message to close the Small Saver and to send the accrued interest to my NA - to my surprise, I received an email within a couple of minutes confirming that my instructions had been carried out!

What are my options?Saffron customer sevice on the phone is really good - you can call them and they will normally sort the issue out then and there. In case you don't know, you can also ask them to renew your old regular saver to one of the currently available options, keeping the same account number, and they will just transfer your balance (minus any deposit to the new RS) across to your nominated account.

Principality BS Regular Saver
Just to confirm what others are saying ...
I spoke to a lovely lady, in Pontypool branch. She confirmed that COP would not work until the following day due to the savings account reference needing to be updated on the system overnight, but that transactions would be completed as long as the details are correct. She also advised that Barclays Bank who perform transactions on Principality's behalf process payments at 12:00 and 17:00.10 -

Good to know that sending ID for existing members is not necessary. I didn't get that far yet. Because I don't have a working printer I've asked them to send me an application from on 12th (Wednesday), was told that it will be posted straight away, but nothing arrived yet. Hopefully it will come on Monday, if not I will phone and ask them to send it again. I'm not in a hurry but hope that this account won't go NLA too soon. It would be a shame to miss this offer.0 -
Phone them up and get it fixed, or you could try a secure message highlighting that the option to withdraw to your nominated account has disappeared. Saffron accounts have a habit of losing the option for some reason, even though the CS will have your nominated account on file. I withdrew from mine mid term without issue but the option had gone when it morphed into an Instant Access.granta said:Saffron Small Saver
