I didn't bother to work it out to be honest but I've nowhere better I could've put the £200 and had a bit of time to spare on my dinner break at work yesterday so saw little harm in opening and funding the account this week and refreshing in about a fortnight.subjecttocontract said:
How much additional interest will your account earn by following that process ?Bridlington1 said:
In my experience Principality BS allow you to close a regular saver and open a new one of the same issue in a very short timeframe. I've opened and funded the 6 Month RS Issue 3 yesterday with a view to refresh the account at the end of the month in order to get the best of both worlds.Slinky said:I think I'll leave it towards the end of the month anyway to get maximum benefit by having two payments hitting the account close together,0 -

logout, go to the apply button for the account application page, when you are asked if you are a new or existing customer, choose existing and then login again from that link... I did the exact same thing as you yesterday logging in first and then trying to add the new account that way!Slinky said:Call me stupid, but how do I open another Principality account? I've logged in, all I can see are my existing 2 accounts and no means of applying for another?
I've already done that, and it takes me to exactly the same place.
Did you properly log out first? If you don't, the Principality system gets confused0 -
Just regarding Principality, I had the same issue so googled Issue 3 regular saver, took me straight there.0

Is it just me - no matter what I click on to get the Suffolk BS Online 1 year Variable Rate Regular Saver, including in the link above, on the first page of this thread and Suffolk's website itself, I simply get a page that has "403 Forbidden" on the top in the middle.Bridlington1 said:According to moneyfacts:
Suffolk BS Online 1 Year Variable Rate Regular Saver (31.03.2026) and Suffolk 1 Year Variable Rate Regular Saver (31.03.2026) at 5% to go NLA by 17/3/25.
To be replaced by Online Fixed Rate Regular Saver (30.06.2026) and Fixed Rate Regular Saver (30.06.2026) both at 5%
Am I just being a silly old bat again?!

Am I correct that it is normal for COP to not recognise account details until the next day?[Deleted User] said:Just regarding Principality, I had the same issue so googled Issue 3 regular saver, took me straight there.2 -
I believe so. In any event, I opened two RS accounts on Thursday, both payments to which could not 'be recognised' and both were showing in said accounts on Friday.s71hj said:

My Coventry Loyalty ended today and has converted to an Easy Access, £3103.90 balance, so £3000 + £103.90 interest 😊0

Perfectly normal. Principality payments usually show after a couple of hours, regardless of day, so if you’re worried do a smaller payment and then top up later as this account allows multiple payments up to the max each month.s71hj said:
