Call me stupid, but how do I open another Principality account? I've logged in, all I can see are my existing 2 accounts and no means of applying for another?
Open another window in your browser and go to the Principality website and locate the account you want to apply for.
Assuming you're still logged in in the other window, you shouldn't have to log in again to apply
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?

I opened an RS6 as a new customer without sending ID, they were able to open mine electronically but not my wife's.

I would recommend sending a cheque though as they insist on receiving a deposit before letting you administer the account - for electronic transfer that means an awkward process of sending details in the post for the opening deposit then following up with the account paperwork after you've received that and sent a deposit.
No, it's much more sfraightforward. On receipt of my application form they phoned me with the new Principality account number. I transferred the first payment into the account and they post me the docs and details. Much quicker than a cheque.
I think "RS6" was a reference to The Melton, wasn't it?

Yes my bad.......my post should read The Melton.

Yet another thing that varies depending which branch does your application then I guess. I still have the compliments slip with the details from last time.

From my experience of trying this yesterday i did have to log in again.
Then when the first log in timed out it also timed out the 2nd log in, so i had to start again without being logged in initially.

logout, go to the apply button for the account application page, when you are asked if you are a new or existing customer, choose existing and then login again from that link... I did the exact same thing as you yesterday logging in first and then trying to add the new account that way!

I've already done that, and it takes me to exactly the same place.
I usually use Chrome browser. When I have problems like this I can sometimes fix it by using Edge.

In my experience Principality BS allow you to close a regular saver and open a new one of the same issue in a very short timeframe. I've opened and funded the 6 Month RS Issue 3 yesterday with a view to refresh the account at the end of the month in order to get the best of both worlds.

How much additional interest will your account earn by following that process ?

I didn't bother to work it out to be honest but I've nowhere better I could've put the £200 and had a bit of time to spare on my dinner break at work yesterday so saw little harm in opening and funding the account this week and refreshing in about a fortnight.
