For anyone who maybe making payments out or expecting to receive payments in to Barclays, they've got issues with the payment system, again, which is also causing issues with credit card payments :/:s
Payments seem to eventually be going through, I was waiting for a Barclays payment into FD this morning took a couple of hours to arrive.

I've finally had one of my payments sent from Barclays, but I've been unable to credit my current account since 6am :/
I'm waiting for the text messaging service at Barclays to send a confirmation of issue gremlings being fixed, but nothing as yet. Looks like another round of payment system outages over the weekend - God help anyone who is moving today and are reliant on Barclays for transfer of funds. It was a disaster last time :/:s  I can see the compensation already stacking up again :#
EDIT UPDATE 10.05pm: Barclays is back up and running in full ;)

Can someone tell me how long it takes for a manual payment to show up with the Melton please. I had a small payment go out via a standing order at the start of the month but also I sent a second manual payment out yesterday mid afternoon and today at close of play it's not showing and I've checked and it has not been returned for some reason.
I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
    There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.

@ trickydicky14 - To clarify: Did your standing order arrived in your Melton account at the start of the month? If so, how long from sending to being visible / available was it? That will answer your question regarding how long it could take before it shows. Don't forget, it maybe slower given the fact that it's the weekend, so may be seen on Monday.
If neither payment has arrived, then I would suggest that you give Melton a call:-)

Regarding HSBC regular saver, does anyone know if only having an existing saver account qualifies to open the Regular saver?
    I'm finding conflicting terms

Page 44 of the Personal Banking Terms and Conditions clearly state that a qualifying current account is required:

Though how it actually carries out the next line, without a current account in existence, would be interesting.

Well spotted. The General Ts&Cs state regarding the Regular Saver:

My understanding would be that you'd need to have a HSBC current account to open the regular saver but it's not as clear as it could be. For now I'll leave the listing on the first page as it is.

Regardless though it seems they've altered the Ts&Cs since I opened the 7% version in September though. The archived listing for the 7% version states:

Additionally the summary box they sent me last week (as they forgot to send one to me in September) seems to be for the 5% version launched in 2022 and states:

I can't see anything in the Ts&Cs preventing you from having both so I would say there's no reason why they shouldn't allow you to have both the online version and the branch/post versions.

I sent a message to them on Friday (penrith) and am still waiting for a reply.
I'll report back with their answer.
