I see where you are coming from now ..... when I said "Not mine", I was assuming figures included continuing the regular payments until Aug 2026. I see you (and clairec666) have calculated the figures with contributions stopping at 1st December 2025. Maybe you've found the answer!SnowMan said:
I make it you would have been paid £93.45 if my theory is correct. You seemed to be saying you were paid £93?Bobblehat said:
Not mine! See numbers quoted in my earlier post for a 11/08/2025 start with subsequent payments on 1st working day of month until 03/08/2026.SnowMan said:Looking at some of the numbers it appears possible that the Darlington mistake might be that they have calculated interest to 31st December 2026 (including the interest for 31st December itself) instead of 31st December 2025.Does that tie in with anyone's numbers?
And the correct amount should have been £18.45

Being nosey... How many Regular Saver accounts do you have? — MoneySavingExpert Forum1 -
Exactly, to the penny.SnowMan said:Looking at some of the numbers it appears possible that the Darlington mistake might be that they have calculated interest to 31st December 2026 (including the interest for 31st December itself) instead of 31st December 2025.Does that tie in with anyone's numbers?
The interest I've been overpaid is exactly £75. Which is 6% of my balance pre-interest yesterday.

Beverley Building Society
Has anyone else checked the interest for their account? Mine appears not to contain the bonus, despite having adhered to the terms for the bonus.
Also, what were others going to do with their regular saver? I was intending to withdraw it down to the minimum to keep it open, but now may continue paying into it this year.I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -
Only received £1.15 interest which doesn't include any bonus, despite having met the terms for the bonus. Will give it a few days before making enquiry.surreysaver said:Beverley Building Society

Same scenario here £1.15 in interest and 1% still showing.Hattie627 said:

First working day tomorrow may resolve0 -
I've just been looking at my reg savers that are at maturity or very near.So many do not have a real option to renew. As interest rates are so low.I'm not expecting 7% / 8% but 2/3% is pittyful.TSB is looking quite good if still around at the end of the month.2

TSB is fixed and easy access too, so one to go for if you need somewhere to put moneyBigwheels1111 said:I've just been looking at my reg savers that are at maturity or very near.So many do not have a real option to renew. As interest rates are so low.I'm not expecting 7% / 8% but 2/3% is pittyful.TSB is looking quite good if still around at the end of the month.I consider myself to be a male feminist. So the complete opposite of playing into Lloyds today, which is showing as tomorrow but paying interest from today, you say. Are we just relying on LBG telling us that this is what happens?allegro120 said:
Debit card deposits always show straight away, but this money won't earn interest until the transaction is complete (normally about 2 working days).Growingold said:

This is my RS distribution for the next two days.Bob2000 said:So, with it being a public holiday on the 1st, is there any point in me doing any transfers into my RS accounts tomorrow?
I mostly do manually transfer.
1st Jan - BoS, Darlington, Dudley, Halifax, Lloyds, Manchester, Melton, Nationwide, Newcastle, Principality, Scottish, TSB, YBS.
2nd Jan - Chorley, Co-op, Furness, Hanley, Loughborough, Mansfield, Market Harborough, Monmouthshire, Progressive, Saffron, Skipton, Virgin.0 -
There was a discussion about LBG a couple of years ago. Somebody who deposited on the 1st calculated the interest they received at maturity and it matched the expected 365 days' interest. I rely on the experiences people share on here.nottsphil said:

I was wrong about Hanley. My apologies.1 -
Mine is £93.45p on £1250. If only all savings accounts are like this.I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.0
