After a lot of effort have finally got agreement that solicitor will renounce their executorship (for a fee of course) - I believe via a form PA17.
I understand that the completed PA17 is submitted along with the PA1P when requesting probate. Does anyone know if this has to be:
Can the solicitor change their mind after signing and before submission?
Thanks

- The original?
 - A certified copy?
 - or will a non-certified copy do?

They should give you the original copy to be submitted with the probate application. Once revoked there is no going back, it can’t be undone.0

Unfortunately the PA17 is going to third party. Good cant be undone - I had read its reversible until lodged with probate that could be months away.Keep_pedalling said:They should give you the original copy to be submitted with the probate application. Renouncing solicitor/executor is passing direct to another solicitor lined up to do the estate adminKeep_pedalling said:
