Late Delivery Rate

I know this topic is regularly revisited…..but anyway I noticed my late delivery rate was not 0% (I literally have never posted anything later than the day after payment in 20 years). Clicking through I found it was an item sold & paid on Sunday evening, posted Monday morning, 2nd class LL. Happens to be one that was scanned as delivered on the following Saturday (this is 21st December so Christmas post). While clicking through the transaction I noticed it said estimated delivery between 30 Dec & 2 Jan despite being marked as delivered. Is it this that is causing it to be flagged late. Otherwise surely the seller can’t be responsible for the vagaries of the UK postal system!

To sort of answer my own question I see having downloaded full report it says despatch by 17/12, first scan date 21/12 (the delivery scan) so presumably no scan recorded when I handed it in at the post office0

I sell on Amazon using Tracked 24 and I have loads of parcels that show as being shipped late yet they were delivered on time. You'd hope that Amazon and Ebay would be smart enough to acknowledge the differences, sometimes they do, sometimes not.
