What will happen in this scenario please?

Options
Someone I know has been of work for some weeks and the doctor is doing fit notes at 30 day intervals.
The last one was till the 17th Dec but they were told they could not ask for a new one till the 17th. Then there was a 2 day wait to get the note and it was dated the 19th which was the day it was collected and forwarded to work.
Today no wage has gone in (It is SSP) so we assume its because the note was late as sent after the 17th.

The person has also put in a claim for UC but has never claimed before so is unsure yet how it works.

The questions are-
If no wage is paid this week should it be entered in the UC journal?
Is it a possibility it will be paid by work next week as a double payment or do they just lose this weeks payment?.

They should of asked for a 6 week line just for over the holiday period.

Has their right to SSP ended perhaps? How long have they been getting SSP?

No harm in adding the information to the UC journal and I don't see why the fit note is missing 2 days either I'd ask for them to correct that (maybe issue a new fit note with the correct days).

And contact the employer who'll have an answer.
