Hi all, I'm looking at taking out a combined phone and broadband package, and wondered if anyone had any recommendations? I've looked at Virgin and Tiscali but they seem to have got slated for their bad cusotmer service.
Requirements: no download limits on broadband as have 2 computers running on wireless, minimum speed of 2mb, free line rental, and would prefer to avoid 0871 customer service numbers, as you can guarantee if the service comes with this number, sods law I'll end up with problems and have to ring them, wiping out any saving. I'm looking to pay around £20ish per month. Free weekend/ evening calls would be an advantage too.
Thanks in advance

Hello
I am a virgin customer and think customer support has improved so much since they took over from NTL, i.e speak to a human being in less then 5 minutes as opposed to holding on for a good half hour.
I spoke to customer relations as I am a current customer and managed to get 12 months at £20/£25 (can't remember which), but I have talk unlimited/2mb Broadband and Freeview TV, the services are reliable, I lose broadband once in a blue moon (once a year on average) and never had a problem with download limits.
Calls to customer service are free.
I would highly recomended them.Payment a day challenge: £236.69
Jan Shopping Challenge: £202.09/£250
Frugal Living Challenge: £534.64/150000
