I want to change some settings on my sky router portal, but my son changed the user name and password some time ago, and now can't remember it. Any ideas how I can get in.

Factory reset it.

Usually routers have a pin hole which when the button inside is pressed the router resets to its original settings which should be written on the router itself. Will mean you setting it up from scratch again though. 

Other than that, what device was the username & password reset and what browser, could be the details have been cached there, or in the browser password manager.

Before you factory reset it make sure the label with the out-of-the-box details is still attached or you have those details elsewhere.

Also agree that factory reset is the easiest option if you have physical access to the router. The default username and password are then usually detailed on the back of the router. Usually it's something unsecure like "admin" or the serial number of the device. Definately worth changing again once you get it sorted.

I can get on WiFi, it's the admin site I can't get on. Used sky admin as username and password.

Have you factory reset the router?

Are you trying to log into the Sky router admin page at http://192.168.0.1 ?

Do you have the default (factory) login details (User Name & Password)?
