I have just seen the new BBCi service which allows you to watch the last 7 days TV from BBC1 on your computer - what a great idea but how would I send the picture through to my TV??
I am rewiring a house so would appreciate any advice!

What TV have you got?0

It also depends what connections you have out on your PC. Unless you have a decent graphics card its unlikely that you will have a 2nd output (after the monitor) or TV out.0

Some graphics cards have S-Video connections for TV-out. Check to see if there's a small circle next to where you put your monitor cable in.
If not, you need a TV which supports computers such as a new LCD/Plasma

I was thinking more on an AV sender method and cutting out the wires where possible0
-
Well if you want to dispense with the wires then you could always download the programmes(I think there is a facility to do this provided by the beeb) and burn them to dvd. Of course this requires a burner and external dvd player and is a hell of a lot more hassle.0

I havent got the iplayer but I'm fairly sure the files will be DRM'd, so it'd be hard to do this.0 -
You need to download thier software to save the files and thy do indeed have DRM and you need to download the license for Media player as well.0

Forgot to mention... Some of the quality isnt good enough to be played back on a large TV although a small portable might look ok0
