vision express return

i have returned a pair of glasses from vision express via their pre paid return label with evri.
it seems evri have lost the parcel but looking at their non compensation list glasses are on it.
if i had choosen evri even though they do not compensate for the item being set i would imagine is my fault.
but as i did not have a choice as to how to send back the glasses i would think any claim for lost items would be against vision express if anyone has been in this situation and could advise it would be very much appreciated.
