I have a Philishave - Purchased from Amazon, a little over 2 years ago - the battery no longer lasts more than 3 days from fully charged.
I have had Philishaves for 40+years and have never had a complaint before - but this is poor
What are my rights ?
Should I try Amazon or go direct to Philips ?

Your consumer rights be will against Amazon. However after 2 years the onus will be on you to prove the battery has deteriorated quicker than usual due to an issue at manufacture.

Phillips usually give 2 year warranty and usually offer an extra year if you register it with them, so 3 years possibly?
Contact them to ask advice in any case.
(NB you'll be overdue new heads by now and a new shaver may be almost as cheap as those anyway). I got a new 5000 series shaver this year from Boots on offer at £50 with £15-worth of points back, making it £35; the heads cost that much, I believe!1 -
The batteries are replaceable, they just don’t make it easy for you.1

You start by Googling the problem. But unless you are a bit handy with a screwdriver on fiddly parts and a soldering iron I wouldn't bother.

You could see online if there are any companies offering battery replacement. I got the battery on my electric toothbrush changed. I found a someone on Ebay that did it.
Come on you Irons0 -
