Pending transactions at statement date?

I've ordered a few items from Amazon, but they're not due to be delivered until the 9th of January, which will be well after the next statement date, and the payment is currently showing as pending.

If the payment is still pending, when the statement is produced, will this pending transaction appear as part of the account balance?

Pending transactions are not posted just because the statement is produced.  They all go through the same reconciliation process and a statement should not speed this up.

No.  Until it is a cleared transaction it will not be on the statement.

No because no payment has been made and many authorisations never turn into a payment. Only collected transactions appear on your statement.
