Hello
Any tilers on this forum who can advise on the finish of this shower that I've had recently tiled.
I asked why trim wasn't put in the top of the pattern but was told it's because a decorator would normally put calking on there to finish it off but then when I pressed and insisted on a trim he said it would not be possible as the tiles wasnt straight.
Should I accept this? Also can someone give me a guide on what this job should cost as I feel he's trying to spank me a little asking for £1000 Inc vat.

Take the top row off, fix the trim then tile to it
Cost wise
The pattern would take longer than normal straight tiling how long did it take ?0 -
Couple of questions:
1) What was the agreed price before the work was started?
2) Did you specify a trim edge before the job was started. What was agreed about the edges (there will be exposed cut edges so i would imagine you would have wanted to hide them)?
