Identity fraud

I’m the victim of identity fraud, and my credit score has been shot. Should I pay for a CIFAS protective marker? Will the police do this as part of their process? Any advice greatly appreciated

    Police will not do anything with CIFAS.

    Credit Score is meaningless as never seen by any lender.

    Just how did ID fraud happen? If via a retailer hack, then you might get them to pay.
