Worried about the dwps ai system flagging me for fraud

Some of you may be aware that the dwp have started a new bill as to where they can look into your bank accounts if they think you are committing fraud this will be flagged by ai if you have any extra money going into your account.
i currently have a tenancy agreement in a house where the other tenants pay into my bank account to pay the rent and I pay the landlord I am worried and I think it will likely happen that my account will flag up on their system as I am receiving 4 people’s rent into my account to pay the rent.
what can I do about this, I cannot change it someone else’s account as it is me on the tenancy.
please help I am very worried they will stop my universal credit and housing benefits that I receive for a disability

The money goes in, and presumably it goes out to your landlord every month? Why do you think they would flag that for fraud?0

Because the ai flags your account if you receive ANY extra money into your account other than your benefit money, even a gift for a birthday or Christmas etc0

Perhaps have a word with landlord so that everyone pays them direct.

Thankyou for the post, so it seems I am pretty much safe anyway according to this article
the landlord only wants to deal with one person under contract, that was my first thought0 -
I wouldn't worry....IF legislative change and AI worked against you in this way you can explain easily the money movements. UC is already conducting 'random' checks 'to see if you are receiving the right level of benefit' across vast numbers of claims which involves looking at recent bank statements and transactions supplied by claimant."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack1

As @Muttleythefrog says, the incoming and outgoing money can easily be explained so there is nothing to be concerned about. DWP will be far more interested in those who have large unaccountable sums going into their accounts.

Thanks everyone, I guess if it was going to happen it would have happened already right as I have been in the same situation for a few years now0

If you can explain the money then if flagged thats what you do. If the funds coming in equals 100% going out then there’s nothing to worry about. Even if flagged by AI then it will be checked by a human and then you just explain what’s happening.Proud to have dealt with our debtsStarting debt 2005 £65.7K.
