There is an update on MCOL saying 'DQ sent to me on 16th August' and 'DQ filed by claimant on 16th August'. Is this the questionnaire being sent to me via post?

Yep. But also, don't give up on the  Public Consultation if you haven't done it yet.

    See this thread: -

Just 2 weeks left but please don't rush it. You can do some then save it and come back to it as you have time.

And we understand that you may need some pointers.

I'm taking a closer look this week and we'll walk you through it. I should have all the first post 'how to respond to each question' advice ready by the end of this week.

There are vital points to safeguard motorists interests to make, that many people won't think of/need focus. There won't be a template - the survey is for you to reply in your words - but we'll help everyone with what to focus on.

I am sending off the questionnaire this morning. I was just reading another defendants thread regarding a mitigation call where they offered £5, they were then asked what their defense would be and their response was the photos of the car park signs.

When I receive this call, what is my defense?

Currently I do not have photos of the site - CEL have been replaced at the car park so I cant run down there and get any - however I have a request in with the club for the photos if there is any.
I am genuinely unsure if it was me or my Dad on the day as we both took my son to this club multiple times a week during this period, and whether it was a mistyped registration/ touch screen failure.

I would appreciate any ammo for my defense during this call assuming I do not get any photos of the site.

Firstly,  you dont send it off

The defendant downloads the N180 pdf document from the government website and fill it in , and save it

The defendant attaches it to an email and sends it to the DQ email address shown in steps 4 to 6 in the defence template thread

As for phone calls,  the call taker doesn't discuss the case or defence,  they discuss money,  if they wish to settle for say £5, £10 etc thatis ok, or it's NO DEAL , short and sweet,  either its settle at a mutually agreed figure,  or not settled

They dont need a defence for the call, dont discuss anything about it,  no comment,  its only about possibly reaching a monetary settlement,  if no agreement is wanted or reached,  the case continues as normal

    Thanks for getting back.

By sending off, I meant by email, its filled out, just haven't scanned it and sent yet.

Ok thanks for the information, I was referring to meshab's posts where they got into the detail about the blue badge and signage, seemed to go down a discussion route which ended the claim eventually.

I will keep it monetary when the call comes.

Don't scan the paper copy, download the pdf and fill it in, file the paperwork in a drawer,  you dont want further problems like other victims who scanned the paperwork in the last few months,  the CNBC want a pdf or paper submissions,  as far as we know

Study what I said more carefully,  download,  fill in , save,  send

Nobody should be discussing the case at mediation,  only a settlement figure,  or impasse, ( no settlement   )

Yep, nothing to work on before the Mediation call...except the Public Consultation.
