Awww, hiya SS wondered how you'd been doing, noticed it was quiet on your thread.

Well you'll make the right decision about what you'll do with Woofer's ashes. 'Spect there'll be a special spot for them.

Just letting you know your MSE friends are still here for you hun.x

(((hugs))) hunny, just do you what you feel is right with Woofer's ashes.

 at the tap running! At least you didn't flood the place.

Well I don't think mum and dad will want them because it'll set them off looking at them all the time. But as daft as it sounds I'd like to have him 'come stay' with me for a little while. :)

I know tell me about it! Can't for the life of me work out how I managed it! :wall:

  • I've just read your posts and so sorry to hear about your dog. I lost my beautiful boxer Lucy on New Years Day-she had an op for cancer but they realised that it was too far gone to save her so they just let her slip away. You'd would have never have known she was ill a few days before. I've still got her ashes on my sideboard-we keep meaning to scatter them at her favourite woods but I'm not ready to let her go yet-sounds a bit weird i know! I'm waiting for the 'perfect day'-maybe in Autumn on one of those lovely dog walking days when noones around. I hope you feel better soon-it's nice that he slipped away at home in his familiar surroundings.

  • Bloody hell I'm desperate to be paid!

Am in my overdraft by quite a bit but hoping that after next months pay I'll be able to get back in the black.

Maybe I need to start posting here more often to keep me on track. Keep spending money I don't have!

Sorted the car insurance. Just over £300 which is about £150 less than I thought it would be. :)

Need to do some proper matched betting but haven't really got the funds at the moment. Will start properly next month and try to hit my £500 a month target.

Still feel a bit tired but not as stressed. My temples had been sore but feel more chilled out now.

Not much to tell finance wise. Have got a cashback credit card which is gonna be used a bit this month. But it's all gonna be paid off next month.

Haven't made any overpayment to the loan, obviously. Need to get things straight next month and start overpaying as it will free up nearly £400 a month when it's paid off.

    We'll see.

    Hi SS

I'm so sorry to hear about Woofer. I've been keeping an eye out for ages on my User CP thingy for you, and never seen your thread - you must post at really different times from me....

Well. When I saw all the condolences I went back through your diary page by page until I found your post about when it happened, so now I'm in floods of tears, of course. He sounds like he was lovely, he really does. Do keep hold of his ashes until it feels right to scatter them - it can take ages. I've still got the ashes of my cats, several years after they died, I won't scatter them in the garden because they didn't really like this area, and they were homebody cats so I can't scatter them in some park or something. I think I'll probably have them scattered with me, that will make it simpler!

I'm not surprised you haven't made any overpayment to the loan! You've had a lot going on, good as well as bad (congrats on the dgf!).

    Take care of yourself.
