good luck!
I do however have something to ask you - can't you pay the £128.43 off your debt so its a nice even number? :p

I could. :p

But I have to work out what £128.43 would buy me.

I reckon a coffe table, microwave and kettle. :D

Horrible past time ain't it? :wall:

It's not the parting with money bit (although that does hurt), it's just so boring.

Okay, microwave and kettle I will accept, but coffee table? I thought you were moving out, not becoming a girl! :rotfl:

Sorry, I meant beer table! :p

Serious dumb@ss question. How the hell do you chose your furniture?

I mean, I don't even know where I'll be living yet so won't have a clue about space or anything so is it a case of waiting until I move in then start buying? :undecided

I guess I can get all the smaller items before but it's gonna be a bit crap moving in and having no furniture for weeks! :rotfl:

I think the biggest thing is sofa's and bed.

Bed wise I don't know whether to go for wooden or metal frames?

Sofa wise it all depends on how much space I've got. Ideally would like a 3 seater and 2 seater. But I haven't got a real clue about prices. And I'm not really into leather unless she looks like this. :rotfl:

I like this sofa. £360 for the large (assuming 3 seater) and £320 for the normal (2 seater). Is that a fair price?

Beer table it is then...;)

I would really wait until you move in, or at least wait until you have signed a contract, and then go and measure up the rooms. I would just buy the bare essentials to start with - the more you buy in advance, the more you have to pack up and unpack when you move in.

I like the sofa btw, although natural-coloured sofas are a b*gger to keep clean looking!
