Free energy

My energy company EDF gives me an option to get free electricity by using there Sunday saver option on there website which is great this week I have 8 hours free electricity, anyone who have electric heating would benefit largely from this ie pensioners , people on low incomes etc. Why will they not include gas customers…

If it helps, the reason i got my free electricity hours was because somehow my fridge plug was out of it's socket
so the fridge was off for maybe a whole day, The sunday saver is on hold for now but if it's cold enough turn off the fridge between 4pm and 8pm and put milk and cheese etc outside then you could get like i did 8 hours of free electric on the Sunday.
