Recommendations for a wall mounted panel / oil filled radiator …. It’s for a office for  working from home , running costs not a issue she said

Just wants a good aesthetically looking heater , a good make or brand name

she doesn’t want a free standing heater , I already suggested that

Aesthetics are a matter of personal taste, but I think some of the Electrorad ones look quite sleek:
I don't know what your friend's budget is, but you can often find hardly-used second-hand ones on eBay etc. once the owners realise how expensive they are to run!

    Have a look here at a few - https://www.which.co.uk/reviews/electric-heaters/article/best-electric-heaters/best-electric-heaters-from-our-tests-aeXs65b7VHCm

In the end there really isnt a "best" electric heater. A £200 heater wont be any more efficient than one from Argos or B&Q for £30 although it might look prettier and have better controls

They have different characteristics and it depends whether you want a quick warm up or continuous background heat. They are all 100% efficient and will cost the same to run for the same amount of heat, its just how that heat is delivered which affects how well it suits your requirement.

    Haverland Smartwave.
My son has just fitted one of these in an apartment for someone.
Very clever, as it has sensors that track movement in room and habits.
That is, it basically learns when the room is occupied and will adjust the heat ,on , off to suit how the room is used depending on time of day and when you are usually in. It can be altered remotely etc as well.
It was about £550 I think to purchase and is wall mounted.
    Regards
    Rob.

I bought an Adax Neo Panel Heater for my home office.  I have it set on a five day timer, but also use the app on my phone to turn it on/off.  It makes my office really toasty and looks good as its quite slimline.

They come in various sizes and I bought the 1400w one.
