You get your deposit back - or choose another car to use the deposit against.

Is there anything in their T&Cs that talks about deposits and what they mean to this company? How long was it between you paying the deposit and them informing you that the car would not be sold?Has the money been taken from your card yet?
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

You're entitled to your £99 back, of course.0

Other than getting your £99 back, what are you wanting to happen?0

Could be a saving grace if they have realised the car is a shed..Life in the slow lane0

Other than the £99 back, what are you hoping for?builder1958 said:Hi I have reserved a car that was advertised for sale by a well known dealership for £99 paid for by credit card, the dealership has now informed me that the car is not for sale, can you please advise where we stand on this

It can be difficult when these situations arise but it can be wholly possible for the same car to be "reserved" via two different channels at the same time. The Dealership then usually simply allows the first to go ahead and has to cancel the other reservations.0 -
Personally I would never pay a deposit for a car in this situation. It's just a marketing hook.0
