Leeds/Bradford Airport Parking Charge

Hi
I have been through the forum and i want to confirm if there is any action that anybody would advise i take for my issue.
My wife (as the registered keeper) got a letter from VCS in September 2024 for 'STOPPING IN A ZONE WHERE STOPPING IS PROHIBITED' at Leeds/Bradford Airport. She wasn't driving the car.
The driver stopped just outside the car park gates as the people that were getting picked up were right there so they quickly put their bags in the car and then went to leave. As it is a one way system, it was not possible to go back and they were forced to enter the car park and pay the parking fee anyway.
We have ignored all letters so far sent to us.....
VCS - Notice To Keeper - Sept 2024
VCS - Final Reminder - Oct 2024
DCBL - Notice of Debt Recovery - Nov 2024
DCBL - Notice of Intended Legal Action Unpaid Parking Charge - Nov 2024
DCB Legal - Letter of Claim - Dec 2024
In the past, i have always ignored these types of things and eventually, they have just stopped sending them but i'm not sure if things have changed or if the above has more 'umph!!' so i wanted to ask for advice to get this resolved. Is ignoring everything again OK or are VCS and DCB different and they will take things to court? I don't generally mind but my wife is getting a bit upset with it all as it's in her name.
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks

Is the DCB Legal - Letter of Claim from DCBL or from the court?
As long as you play the game as per the newbies thread - DCBL will probably discontinue.
I presume you have not admitted who the driver was to anyone?1 -
oh, and do NOT ignore everything - if you get a letter from the court you must act on it1

Please can you advise which part of the newbies thread I need to look at as its got a lot in there and I'm struggling to follow it to make sure I use the right advice and templates.
We've not admitted anything so far as we've ignored all the letters until now.

Just read the second post of the Newbies thread. If your wife wasn't driving she should say so (without naming the driver) in her response the the LBC.
She has a perfect defence if she wasn't driving. She can't be held liable.are VCS and DCB different and they will take things to court?Yes but different in a good way!
They discontinue their court claims when defended (no hearing takes place). They are playing a numbers game and are only after naive people who will pay.
That's not your wife. Not now you are here.
Here's the truth:
SHE WANTS THE COURT CLAIM.
Honestly! That's the stage that leads to discontinuance after a copy & paste defence. Read the DCB Legal thread by @UmkomaasPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hold your ground and you will win too. Defend and complete a Witness Statements and they will discontinue, probably without serving you proper notice of discontinuance and most likely without providing a witness statement.
VCS are the lowest of the low of the private parking company bottom feeders.5 -
Hi, thanks for all this advice, it's great! I held off again but we then got an official letter from HM Courts & Tribunals Service!! I just completed the Acknowledgement Of Service but I did it on the 15th day so hopefully they don't stig us for that as it was supposed to be done within 14 days!
I stated that 'I intend to defend all of this claim' and that 'I intend to contest jurisdiction'.
I assume the defence should be still as you have stated above?

Everything must be done by your wife, the RK and presumably the defendant ? Not you ( you are her assistant )
The AOS deadline was 19 days, so what is the issue date on the claim form ?
Post a redacted picture of the POC on the lower left of the claim form after hiding the VRM details first1 -
