If you’re given the option to enter a nickname for the account, it’s worth doing so in a consistent way including the building society name and a clue as to the account eg RS for Regular Saver. OH opened a flurry of regular savings accounts as <His name> for the account name and <His name> for the nickname. I got a COP match the other day using my name and personal (re-adding an account that I had deleted from my payee list over a month ago not expecting to be able to roll it into a new account with the same account number.)1
