Parking fine for being stuck in the car park?

Hello.
I went shopping at my local Asda and picked up my girlfriend from the Asda eastlands car park which is owned by parking eye near co op arena Manchester.
I got stuck for a long period of time and could not get off. In total I was on there 1 hour 15 mins and they’ve charged me for being 15 mins over.
I spent ages trying to get off the car park but I was stuck in a queue.
Is there anything I can do?.

It isn't owned by ParkingEye.
Obviously you won't be paying.
Please read the NEWBIES thread first. No link needed. See my signature for how to get there.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

i have looked through it and my biggest takeaway was do not own up to it.
Unfortunately an hour ago I emailed them to appeal and told them I was driving and it wasn’t my fault that I couldn’t leave the car park due to traffic so I don’t think I have a leg to stand on now.0 -
Yes you do complain to Asda if not cancelled

Really? Where do I say that? I don't. Surely the biggest takeaway is that PLAN A is not 'appeal'. Not sure why you'd rush in an appeal before coming here though. Cases are always so much harder when people have done that.[Deleted User] said:

Try Plan A like everyone is advised to do.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Plus if Asda Aren't the landowner, complain about your PCN to the managing agent or landowner, as required, plan A
Plan A is always the best option, round that area traffic jams are inevitable1
