DCB Legal Sent N180 Directions Questionnaire & are taking me to court!!

Hi All,

First post here and tried to find something similar so as to not spam a new thread.

I received a PCN at St Thomas's Hospital London, back in Feb of this year. At the time I informed them that although I am the registered keeper of the vehicle, I was not driving it at the time in question and that it was in fact my brother (who is now living abroad).

Initially I contacted the National parking Control Group Limited who issued the PCN,informed them it was my brother driving, gave his address and wasd told that they would chase him for the ticket.

Months went by and then I started getting tickets in my name (which were missspelt). Called them again and again was told that the file would be updated and that I should ignore the letter that was already scheduled to arrive shortly.

Fast forward to the 14th November and I received the dreaded Claim Form through the post. I setup an MCOL account and added my defense in there on the 22nd November which read:

"I was contacted about the parking charge and asked to provide
details of the person driving the car at this time. My brother was
driving the vehicle at the time and I provided the Parking
enforcement company with those details via their online portal.

The contact details I provided were,

xxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Some time passed and I received a written notice with the charge
in some semblance of my name, xxxxxx xxxxx  instead of to, xxxxx xxxx

I contacted the enforcement company, this time by phone and spoke
with a member of their customer service team. I explained the
situation and was told that a note would be added to the account
transferring the account into my brothers name. Although he had
travelled back to Portugal, he still acknowledged his culpability
in relation to the parking charge.

I continued to receive letters in my name and after another phone
call to the enforcement company I was told that the letters should
not have been sent to me but instead to my brother.

Fast forward to this week and I received a County Court Claim form
addressed to xxxx xxxx. I believe the parking enforcement
company is attempting to pursue a claim against me in error."

Today (18th December) I received an email from DCB Legal stating that their client wishes to proceed with the claim. Its at this point that I decided to (finally) do some research and came across this forum.

I have read the Newbies guide and believe I am at Stage 7. I have sent an amended defense to ClaimResponses.CNBC@justice.gov.uk and received a response stating I should receive an update in 10 days.

I just want to double check that I should just wait for my own Directions Questionnaire or is there something else I should submit. I've seen posts mention that as I am defending as a Keeper and not the driver that include a copy of Schedule 4 of the POFA and also exhibit the transcripts of Excel v Smith and VCS v Edward.

Is this still relevant to my particular case?

Any help is greatly appreciated!
