CCA response from PRA Group

  • They seem to use different tactics on different consumers as I did a CCA request a year ago, received the standard letter confirming it was unenforceable until located and I’ve heard absolutely nothing since a year down the line
  • I'm guessing it might be a sit tight scenario and hope they don't produce statements?

Seperately, cabot replied to my proof of responsibility request and confirmed that they've been provided with a credit agreement for the accounts. Is it worth me now submitting a CCA request too? They have said "accounts on hold for 21 days... We may be able to offer a discounted settlement on your balances."
Any advice on the cabot question?

I would respond once saying that you wont be paying anything until they produce the cca and wont respond to any further contact, and then completely ignore them until they do they do produce the CCA. They can be very devious and push things to within an inch of lyimg to try and scare and deceive you into paying.
Thanks my thoughts too, but wanted to check. I will contact them after Christmas,
