Terms and conditions

Below are the terms and conditions for the TravelEssence Matchmaker game.

The prize:

The prize is a trip for two people to Australia, New Zealand or both, worth £10,000.

Included in the trip is:

• A rental car for the duration of the stay

• Pre-booked accommodations

• Activities/excursions

• International flights

Important information / T&C’s of participation:

• The prize can be used for a yet-to-be-booked, tailor-made trip with TravelEssence to Australia, New Zealand or both.

• If the cost of the entire trip exceeds the total price value of £10,000, then the costs on top of the prize money will be at your own expense. This can happen when you (but is not limited to) book a trip for more than two people, book a longer trip, or book flight tickets in more luxurious classes.

• The trip must fall within the TravelEssence format (a complete trip including 

  small-scale accommodation, activities and a rental car) and cannot be interrupted for, 

  for example, a self-booked motorhome trip or a cruise.

• If a fixed part of the prize is not taken or claimed, it will be forfeited without replacement.

• The winner must ensure that the trip starts before 30 November 2026.

• Blackout dates apply, and travel is not permitted to take place during high season and school holidays. Including 1 July - 31 August and 1 December - 28 February.

• The voucher is personalised.

• The voucher holds no physical cash value and cannot be exchanged for another prize.

• All entrants must be over the age of 18.

• The winner must hold a valid international driving licence.

• One winner will be chosen from all participants from the countries where TravelEssence operates (the UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium and the Netherlands).

• All entries must be made before 12 November 2024 23:59, any entries made after this cut-off date and time will not be accepted.

• The winner will be selected at random and notified via email within seven working days of the competition ending.

  cut-off date and time will not be accepted.

• The winner will be selected at random and notified via email within seven working 

  days of the competition ending.

• Family members of TravelEssence staff are excluded from entering this competition.
