Nottingham Building Society - Not receiving initial email when trying to open a new account

Has anyone else tried to open a new (online) account with Nottingham building society, but early on in the application process failed to receive the 5 digit code they email you?
I'm using a xxxxx@yahoo.co.uk email address. Perhaps that is the problem?

Have you looked in your Spam folder, it might have got caught up in there.
I've had a couple of email addresses in the past which some companies have NOT recognised, TUI couldn't accept a gmx.com email address even after I'd paid online and I had to use another provider.
It might be consideration that if you have another email address from a different provider you try using that?
