Civil enforcement

I had a parking ticket front civil enforcement from Dec 2017. I appealled and we went to arbritration and it was agreed I would pay 80 over 3 monthly payments of 20 each. that was that. I have today received a letter from civil enforcement saying that that have taken out a ccj against me and as I did not make a payment within 30 days the judgement will now remain on.my credit file for 6 years and if I continue not to pay they may take further action. is this right that they can do this for a debt that I have paid and take out a ccj without my knowledge I have lived at this address since 2015

Why on earth did you agree to pay? You'd have won the case! You are meant to say NO OFFER at Mediation phone call stage.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I have directly message to original poster. But in case of interest to anyone else, the letter is likely a mistake on behalf of this incompetent parking company. It seems if the judge agrees an amount in court which is less than what CE were demanding then their computer systems don't update and then years later they write to you and say that they have issued a CCJ. They haven't. Their computers generate the letter automatically despite the matter already being settled. I was beyond furious when I found out. I had a whole weekend of worry before managing to speak to someone from the company.1
