    Many thanks, will look into this.  Of all the suppliers I thought Octopus Energy would give out free electric on Christmas day,  Ebinzeer Scrooge is alive and well - working at the offices of Octopus Energy.

    3rd paragraph is the important one...

    Uswitch stated: "Those taking part will be asked to reduce their electricity usage in a safe and manageable way, such as by switching off appliances not in use, and also adapting their routine, for example delaying cooking a meal or switching on the dishwasher."

    So do you get anything if you do not save anything?

    Given most people will use more on christmas day due to long cooking times for food etc. Think I would get more grief than usual on saving sessions.
