NCP fine help

Hi all,
I have been issued with a fine 3 months after the alleged incident. I remember the situation well, I took a wrong turning while I was trying to find my parking space but I don't remember actually stopping, I just had to do a U-turn so don't feel like I've done anything wrong other than made a mistake. Would someone be able to help me with the best way to appeal it? I've read a little about the keeper of the vehicle vs the driver but I'm a little confused and I am so sick of these companies doing this to people! Many many thanks could really do with not paying this at xmas time! x

NCP don't issue fines, the top of that PCN tells you what it actually is
Clearly it fails keeper liability, possibly due to being Gatwick, so no blabbing about who was driving
Read other similar cases and appeal as keeper using a no keeper liability template2 -
thank you... I saw something in an earlier thread about this so will have another look

Just to be 100% sure would I send something like this:
I am appealing as registered keeper and I have seen no evidence of a contravention. As your Parking Charge Notice does not comply with the requirements of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 (Schedule 4) you are, in law, unable to hold the registered keeper of the vehicle liable for the parking charge. Therefore, I suggest that you contact the driver. As there is no legal requirement placed on the registered keeper to identify the driver, I will not be doing so.
The matter between us is closed because I've declined your invitation. I require you to cancel the parking charge and remove my personal information from your database.
