Royal Mail Stamp Swap Out over £200 : any advice from experience please

We are currently preparing - with some trepidation - an application for the Royal Mail Stamp Swap Out over £200 (new application form and T&Cs from Sept. 2024 / sending by Special Delivery Guaranteed)
We are following the instructions therein to the letter - at every step. There is a considerable sum of stamps involved. We're just hoping it turns out well .... having seen all of the negative press the past few years on the topic.
Question: has anyone here had experience of successfully navigating the Stamp Swap Out over £200 ? Anything to share?
Thank you all.

Did a £200+ swap a while back with no problems. It seems to be a lottery though, not heard any bad press recently but I suspect the volume has dropped now.

Any press coverage we could find did not specifically mention Stamp Swap Out over £200.
We hope to have some control by means of cert. of posting /tracking, photocopies of stamps we sent, etc but this still would not avoid a "short change" scenario by Royal Mail, i.e. RM not swapping out up to the high value of the stamps sent.
Thats why we're following the Royal Mail instructions very carefully and asking around on here for any anecdotal evidence that the Swap Out process does indeed work for high values0
