Cylinders to fit Sodastream

Does anyone know of and independent service for Sodastream compatible cylinders?
We use a lot of fizzy water and need to change the cylinder at least once a month. Twice now the cylinder we’ve bought boxed, as new, from Sains has actually been unsealed and empty when we open the box. Obvs no proof. So now looking for different, and hopefully cheaper, source.
Any suggestions for an alternative source of cylinders?

We have a contract with Sodastream, had to buy four cylinders initially, send them back when all empty, they send another 4 within days. Works well for us, we have the original cylinder that came with the machine too, so never without one. Off the top of my head it’s £40 each time.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Competition Time, Site Feedback and Marriage, Relationships and Families boards. co2you has hassle free exchange on your doorstep via DPD, which is a bit of a revelation after lugging cylinders to a collect plus point with the sodastream for years.1

I looked at the options a little while ago and they didn’t work out cheaper than soda stream ones if you get the 4 cylinder contract. 4 for £40.0
