If your provider doesnt offer a card payment option, then you wont have a way of doing it. Nobody on here can really assist unless you name the provider.

I can pay by card for my very small monthly service charge with Places For People.

If there is not an obvious "pay this bill on line by card" link provided by the payee then you can't.  How have they requested you pay ?
  • No there is no pay online option, they provide a sort code and bank account number and ask for transfers to be paid in - its an amazon barclaycard

That could be the answer, they only accept bank transfers to the account details provided?
    See molerat's post.

Makes no difference what credit card you have (both the Barclaycard and Amazon is irrelevant) if the only way they accept payment is by bank transfer.

Most management companies would not have a credit card facility I would assume, they wouldn't want the fees.
  • ok thanks everyone - bank transfer it is :)

Need to read your letter properly or speak to the managing agent. For us the invoice just gives bank details for a FasterPay/BACS transfer but if you read the covering letter it gives a telephone number you can ring to pay over the phone.

They are good little agents and dont charge anything for paying by card so may as well get the Avios (or whatever your poison is). They do however charge you for paying by Standing Order which I think is very naughty of them
