but i should have added as i like this building society

as long as you have all the numbers from your closed accounts you can get a statement of interest from nationwide on closed accounts

unless you an idiot like me

 i did not write them down before closing them / makes it much longer process and not able to do it online

Yes it's annoying they don't include closed account, but they do send a statement usually in the post for closed accounts. Also you can obviously add up the interest already earned plus interest on closure and note it somewhere. But it is a pain them not including closed accounts in the year end summary.
