Ryanair Fare Question

Hi,
I know i've seen this mentioned before in the forum, but would like clarification from anyone that has done it.
Fare from Blackpool to Girona £29.99 + tax
Return £39.99 + tax
If booked as a one way then the return would be 39.99 euros + tax. As it's for 3 tickets this would be a saving, even with debit card charges etc.
My question is, are you allowed to book it this way as one way tickets? Has anyone done this before, and if so how did it go?
any advice/help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
Jules

I have booked with easyjet like that and thompson. It makes me mad because they advertise 'great' one way fares in pounds from here, but they always seem to be cheaper if you book one way from europe!0

Did this last year to Girona with ryanair. Saving 30% on inbound flight. Having checked other airports, girona seams to be the most common for this difference occuring0

There certainly wouldn't be a problem booking 2 one way tickets rather than 1 return. It's even possible to cancel the first leg of a return ticket on Ryanair (which can work out in your favour if it's much cheaper to buy a return starting in Europe but only use the second leg as your outbound flight). None of the "big" airlines would let you do this!0

Thanks for all the replies, I have booked each flight as a one way, but for future information it wouldn't let me use my switch/maestro card for the Girona - Blackpool, had to use my Visa.
