Morning all. Yesterday passed without mishap.

I'm up and about after having had a good sleep. This morning I have a quick trip to do, well, not so quick but it'll be a short turnaround. I've an order to collect, I'll get it and come straight back. Later on I'll stick a white wash on and make some more soup. Tonight is the delight of the Strictly final to watch.

Morning all

Doesn't feel quite so cold this morning but weather still predicting more rain!  Hope they've got it wrong.

A bitty day today, bit of baking, bit of Christmas wrapping and a bit of finishing the Christmas decorating.  Got a new phone for my birthday last week which gave me a free 3 months of A pple tv and am now addicted to a spy show called Slow Horses which is on there so that's late afternoon sorted!

He's hilarious.  Looking at the titles it seems David Baddiel's wife Morwenna Banks was one of the writers.  Got to fit all the series into 3 months now though!

Thanks for the start Gers.
Yesterday I was so tired, not used to going out in an evening 🙄😂, feel a bit better today.

Have some ex neighbours popping in for coffee and there’s a load of chores to do for later plus I still have cards to write. Don’t seem to have had many so far this year, not sure if people are late or cutting down, unsurprising given the cost of stamps. 

Hope everyone has a good weekend - I’m staying away from shops, it was bad enough yesterday!

It's rather dull/grey here this morning.

I'm looking forward to watching Strictly tonight with friends.

Good morning, thanks for starting us Gers.
Another dull start to the day, the same as the last couple of days. 

I haven't managed to get on here for a few days, there just seems so much to do. OH came shopping with me yesterday, everywhere was so busy, and we got knocked about quite a bit. There's so much to look at in the shops that people don't look where their going. Still, a few more bits put sway.

I had a nice surprise yesterday, a friend I haven't seen for 7 years got in touch, so spent a lot of the time catching up.

Today will be doing the jobs I didn't do yesterday, then settling down to watch the Strictly final. No idea what's for dinner, but plenty to choose from.

Morning everyone it was late in the day when I got a look on here yesterday just managed to have a read through and of course I’ve forgotten everything but AA that tree is fab love it . It’s dull here but slightly milder I’m going to do a pan of soup and bake a couple of pies housework of course but as long as I get the kitchen floor washed I will not be bothered about what else gets missed it’s never ending l strictly final tonight I’ve really enjoyed this year they have all been good something I’ve never watched is master chef but I watched it this year as one of them was from a local town not far from me he was knocked out straight away but I enjoyed it and it was hard to pick a winner.thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing

Good morning, it is a nice morning at the minute here - we're in the Peak District for a couple of days in a lovely cottage.

We're with family that we haven't seen since last year so it's talk, talk, talk!

We'll be going out later, will probably eat out.

Morning everyone
Very cold and bright here this morning - I have washing to dry so I'll put it outside - it might dry a bit.
I need to go into town this morning and get the last Christmas bits, I need some Soap and Glory for eldest DD and another roll of paper. This afternoon, I'm planning on doing some more wrapping as little one will be here tomorrow, so we'll be busy with the Christmas tree and she needs to wrap her mummys presents.
