2 parking locations

Options
Got this PCN.  3 hours parking limit.  In the picture was parked in location A.  Then under 3 hours, I moved to location B and stayed in location B for another 1.5 hours.  I believe there's a public road in the middle but the parking company are calculating both locations as one.

This sign at the entrance will prove useful...

As recently as yesterday Savills have shown us how helpful they can be by cancelling tickets.

As soon as you turn off Chaul End Lane, you are entering the one retail park with it's combined parking.

Chances are that it's a private roadway with access for the public  , not a public road  !  All retail parks have private roadways

They will be treating the whole area as one,  like Keithp says

Definitely complain to the retail park management company,  Savills,  plan A   ( nobody should need to be told about plan A , it's a no brainer,  especially to yourself who has previously posted on here   )

Check the PCN for Pofa compliance too ( or non compliance   )

check with the local authority to see what roads are adopted
    From the Plain Language Commission:

As with many parking events you have made a wrong assumption I'm afraid I don't see why you have assumed that there is an authority owned road separating the two sections of the trading park, it is all one and the same.
On the other hand the PPC are glad you did as it means they can try to extort money from you.
The signage is as usual rubbish, there is one sign which is minute on the left as you go in stating private property.
You certainly should not be paying these dimwits anything.

The signage hasn't improved since 2022 we all know why!

Apart from silly Mr Hurley (IPC) who said There is no benefit to misleading signs"

I called them but they say they are unable to help anything related to parking.  Would you have a contact person there I can speak to?

If you now have a Claim Form:

Just re-read the SECOND post of the NEWBIES thread (we will not link it; see my signature for how to hop there).

Read the SECOND POST OF IT ONLY.

Then do the AOS (explained there with a walkthrough pictorial guide) then use the Template Defence and draft your facts, which slot into paragraph 3.

You will never pay, no CCJ is risked and it probably won't even get as far as a hearing. All very easy and a useful experience in seeing off a 'scam'.

First, please post a photo of the claim form page, but REDACT

    - your name & address & QR Code

    - your VRM

    - the Claim number (top right)

    - the Password (lower right)

Or do you only have a LBC? Also covered in the NEWBIES thread second post.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
