I think I have found the right defence template from defence thread.
You will be using our detailed (and updated regularly) Template Defence - see the top of the forum - which leaves you ONE paragraph to add.

This month I've even started giving people with DCB Legal claims a generic script for that paragraph 3 too! Leaving people literally ONE DATE to change, and your name & claim details added at the top.

Signature and date at the end. Job done.

It is twenty times easier than any appeals system. Done by email. No risk. No cost.

    No hearing because they discontinue.

No solicitor nor law knowledge needed.

    Dead easy!

We win or see discontinuations 99% of the time. No risk. We are glad you found us.

I hate providing links to threads because it stops people seeing how to hop around and finding & reading threads for themselves. But in the spirit of the Season, here's one showing what to put for para 3:
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/81139187/#Comment_81139187

That shows you some 'deny the POC' wording to include in your para 3. Just add a line about the circumstances & facts that you know or that it is too long ago to recall so the Claimant must prove their allegations.

And of course use the whole Template Defence but we don't want to be shown it ... please!

Then follow the first 12 steps in the Template Defence thread so that you don't need to ask us (please...) about the DQ questions or the laughable Mediation phone call.

We hope that we are only needed again by Defendants at WS & evidence stage next year. The 'first 12 steps' advice saves us all time.

See you again in several months' time.

Hi all, I have received directions questionnaire. I am trying to find specific instructions on filling out this form. I have tried going onto second post of newbies thread and other relevant links but keep going in circles without finding required instructions to fill out this form.

    Thanks

Thanks, I have almost completed the questionnaire. Question G1 states have you been advised of your right to give evidence in either English or Welsh? Is the answer to the no ? As I haven't been advised.

Also in the email to ccbc and claimant. What should I put in the email subject and body of email ?

    Thanks

Please don't ask about that 'nothing' question about Welsh. Anything will do!

Just put the claim number and what you are enclosing in the subject line, like you would any email. Just something sensible!

Hi guys I had the mediation call today and they accepted £25. They went down from £270 to £170 then to £100.

My first offer was £20. After the call I did think maybe I should have said zero as case may not have gone ahead.

Very good - in my book, that's a win! Congrats.

Hi have received another parking fine from July 2023. They have not made a claim yet. Is it worth waiting for them to make a claim and follow same process ? I haven't made any appeal or anything so far with them. Previously i did get letters from dcb legal for this fine as well but seems like they have changed to moorside legal now.
