When I try to enter todays date in an excel cell using ctrl + shift + ; I am now getting the time 12:54 instead of the date. 13/12/2024
It was OK until about half an hour ago.
I rebooted my computer but it made no difference
What have I done and how do I fix it?

I don't use it very often but though you did ctrl + semi-colon and hit enter first to get the date and then ctrl Shift semicolon to add the time after the date ?
ctrl semicolon for just the date
ctrl Shift semicolon for just the time
Insert the current date and time in a cell - Microsoft Support0 -
Of course it is, I'm an Idiot, how did I suddenly think it was ctrl + shift + ;
Old age is getting worse.1
