home insurance not in continuous occupation

My daughter has her own house and a normal house insurance policy.
Unfortunately she is currently suffering with a bad back and mental health issues, so she is living with us at present. Once a month, she goes to stay overnight to meet the requirement of the house not being unoccupied for more than 30 days. Does this meet the insurance requirements, or do we need to advise the insurance company & would we expect to have to pay more?
Any help would be most helpful

Worth checking to see if, as well as not being unoccupied for more than 30 days there is a limit on the total number of days the property is unoccupied in a 12 month period.  It's certainly advisable to get a definitive answer from the insurer.

You need to read the policywording, some require two consecutive nights there to reset the occupied status. Similarly some have an annual limit as well as an any one period.

Depends on the insurer. Some are ok with unoccupied properties as long as someone is checking in regularly and the heating is left on at 11C 24/7. Others won't touch unoccupied properties, some will want the water off and drained and windows/letterbox boarded after X days. An increase from your current insurers is unlikely but were they to say you need to cancel and you go out and buy unoccupied home insurance then that is likely to be more expensive.
