Savings Cap for couples & buying a house

With the new forced migrations to UC from tax credits, I do wonder how the gov expect parents that want to buy a house are able to. A lot of working parents just get say child care help, they are unable to buy houses for 60k.
The savings cap for a single person is only 6k, but a couple is the same. 6k for a couple that work is less than 3 months wages, think the gov need to relook at this

Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

The cap is over £16k, there is a deduction between £6k & £16k. What the Gov should do is outside the remit of this forum as it's against the rules.
